Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They should work together. I have the Nest thermostat and it works perfectly with all four(4) Google Home at the house. I have three minis and one regular. I set everything through Google Home. You have to establish a connection through through the Home app. From the upper left corner, open the tab and select "Home control". It will take you to your "Devices" list. From there, press the Plus(+) sign at the lower right and select "Nest" and once added and set up it will communicate with Google Home provided that Google Home has been added to your Devices list as well. I hope this help.

It could be couple of different reason it is not working. https://nest.com/support/article/Learn-how-to-control-your-Nest-Learning-Thermostat-with-Google-Assistant-and-Google-Home Easiest option to get this fixed is install nest app and get connected to Nest Customer support chat or call. I promise that you wont be disappointed. I was amazed by their knowledge and customer service.
