• I find that it goes up plenty loud for my liking, and I like loud music. The only thing I can think of is if you have set a limit on you iPhone for the loudness of your headphones. I'm not sure of the exact path due to which iOS you are using, but is should be something general liker settings => sounds => music => sound check and volume limit to "OFF". Try those out. I love the loudness of these 'phones.

• You may have your media volume too low on your phone. Check your phone media (not ringtone) volume because the ear buds cannot go up any farther than your phone is set at.

• Make sure you have the volume up on your phone. If the volume on your phone is down the control on the headphones will turn the sound up up so far.
