• Rain does not hurt it. I live in Mobile AL where it rains all the time. I have 2 panels over a year old. They don’t charge without the sun on a rainy day but the batteries store enough for like 6 weeks so a week or two of straight rain is no big deal.

• Rain and snow have not affected my solar panels. They even seem to charge a bit with an inch of snow on them.
