Does the solar panel work with the Ring Doorbell?? null

Yes. I purchased it specifically for this reason.

My understanding is that it works for the spotlight battery only though I don’t have personal experience otherwise. The connection from the solar panel is very specific.

Yes, these panels work with the Ring security system cameras. I would highly recommend them as it saves you from having to get on a ladder to recharge batteries. I do not believe they are compatible with the doorbell itself, but I have had no issues with recharging the doorbell battery itself. It is quite simple and quick.
