“I am considering purchasing a Solis Light for when I go camping and my T-Mobile signal on my phone is not available.Will I be able to turn the Solis hotspot off so I don’t use its data when I don’t need it? Or does it run continuously regardless of need?”

Hello and welcome! Thank you for your interest in our services; Solis wifi is an excellent alternative for internet access in remote areas where connections are difficult to obtain. However, if cellular towers provide no coverage, the Solis wifi will be unable to connect. Data usage will not be allowed if the device is turned off or if no phone or PC is connected. Our technology connects to multiple local cellular towers, and if you're in a location that doesn't provide T-Mobile signal, the hotspot may connect to the next available cellular provider. This technology uses multiple cellular carrier networks so even if T-Mobile is not available it's still possible that the Solis hotspot might connect to another available carrier network.
