If being installed in an attic space below the roof, these enclosures would also keep the speakers safe from insulation and possible environmental changes. It just helps protect them in addition to sound spill over and tightening up the bass a touch.

Although they do not completely eliminate the sound transfer, they will reduce it significantly to around 20dB. I hope you found this information helpful.
