Can these speakers be mounted on a drop ceiling null

Hi, Thank you for your question. Yes, the Sonance MAG8R speakers can be installed in a drop ceiling, as long as the ceiling tile and grid are properly supported. Because ceiling tiles are not as rigid as drywall, we recommend using a ceiling tile bridge or additional backing support to help carry the weight of the speaker and prevent the tile from sagging over time. You’ll also want to confirm you have enough clearance above the tile for the speaker’s mounting depth. The MAG8R requires a 9-5/8” cutout and approximately 5-7/8” of mounting depth, so be sure to verify both before installation.
