Hi, Thanks for your question. The Sonance SR 2-125 amplifier we include with the Garden Series 8.1 package can power up to (16) Garden Series satellites and (2) Garden Series subwoofers before you would need to add a 2nd amplifier. Also, we recommend using color coded 14-gauge 4-conductor direct burial speaker wire when installing your system. I hope you found this information helpful. .
