- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. Yes, you can replace the MAG 6.1 subwoofer with the Garden Series subwoofer. Keep in mind you cannot add it to the system, but you can swap the two subwoofers. The Sonos amp can power (6) satellite speakers and (1) subwoofer. I hope you found this information helpful. QuestionHi, we recently purchased the 8.1 Garden series Sonos. It came with one subwoofer. I would like to purchase another subwoofer and add it to the existing system with the existing wiring. And the amplifier that came with it handle this?

Yes, you can add one additional subwoofer and eight additional satellites to the amplifier for a total of 16 satellites and 2 subwoofers all running off of a single SR-2-125 amp. QuestionYes, I got the 8.1 Sonos and my question is on the 10 inch subwoofer that goes in the ground. Can you give me the dimensions of the hole that I should dig out to set the speaker in there? And I was thinking about Adding another 10 inch subwoofer to it

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. Your hole should be roughly 14" in diameter by 15" deep. Ensure you leave approximately 5" of clearance from the bottom edge of the subwoofer dome to the ground. I hope you found this information helpful. - Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The "SUB" connection on the back of the Sonos Amp is intended for products like a powered subwoofer. The Garden Series subwoofer does not have an internal amplifier so connecting the sub to that port directly will not work. We would be happy to help you add a subwoofer to your system.
