Hi, Thank you for your question! We would not recommend using a volume control with the Sonance MAG 6.1 Outdoor Speaker System. The Sonos Amp delivers 125 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers, which exceeds the 60-watt rating of the volume control. This mismatch can lead to overheating, distortion, or even damage at higher volume levels. Additionally, the MAG 6.1 system is designed to have its volume controlled digitally through the Sonos app using the Sonos Amp. I hope this information is helpful!
