HI, This grille is designed to be a replacement part for our Visual Performance 3" speakers. You could use the grille for other purposes if you could come up with a way to mount it. When used with our speakers, the grille attaches using magnets that are embedded in the speaker. If you could come up with a good way to mount the grille I don't see why you could not use it for other things. I hope you found this information helpful.
