Hi, Thank you for your question. This subwoofer does not need a separate enclosure or brackets/mount for installation. Keep in mind this is a passive subwoofer and it will need an amplifier to power it. I would recommend using our Sonamp DSP 2-150 (Best Buy SKU #: 6302322.) I hope you found this information helpful.
