QuestionConnection Help for Outdoor Covered Patio: I bought the Beam(Gen 2) to mount underneath a TV, along with the Sonos Amp and Ceiling Speakers. The Amp will be inside. Will Beam connect/sync with the Amp through the app or do I need to somehow connect it?

- Answer I’m pretty sure you will need to hardwire both products to your network switch to pair the AMP and BEAM.

- Answer I ran into more troubles with the HDMI cable off the back, not the power cable (added a picture). But I got "roughly" 4.8 inches.

QuestionI have a Sonos Arc in my living room and I was thinking about getting a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and using if for my rear speakers? Will it work? That way I will have Dolby Atmos in front with my Arc and Beam Gen 2 for my rear if possible.

QuestionI get this occasional loud pulsating machine gun noise where I then have to disconnect the power and then turn it back on to make the noise stop. It has happened since I purchased this unit a few months ago. Is this fixable? Thanks.

- Answer Nope. Sonos connects via your Wifi not by bluetooth or wired connection to the sound bar.

Question(REVISED) I want to use my receiver's HDMI (monitor) output as the sound source for the Beam. I cannot use the receiver's HDMI ARC connection - that goes to my TV. Will this work and does the BEAM have an HDMI input?

- Answer If i understan your question correctly, the sound bar does connect via HDMI/Audio/ARC port. But the rest of the spealers go through your WiFi and the phone App. The Sonos App is key to set up and you add each speaker via the app and home WiFi

- Answer If it has hdmi arc you are ok , if the jvc don’t have it , you have to use a fiber optical cable or if the tv also doesn’t have optical you will need an adaptor from the tv sound output to hdmi of optical at the sonos beam.

- Answer Yes , add 2 surround play ones and sync and you can use it with tv sound and music sound like pandora as a surround system , the app has a video mode and a music mode when using the beam and the play ones as a surround.
