“I want to add more sound to my LG Smart TV. The sound is just ok. The room is large and open and we would not be able to put speakers behind the seating area. Thoughts about putting two fives on the book shelves on either side of the TV? Jules”

I think you have a great idea here, I put 2 in this configuration and sounds great. Room size was approximately 600x600 feet. I also use a Sonos beam plus sub and nothing behind seating areas. Trying a beam plus sub might be a good option before purchasing two fives.
