• You use the sonos app to control the speakers. Not sure if there is one for computer. I use my iPhone.

• I have a pc laptop and no streaming service. I just want to be able to play music from internet streaming from my laptop. It doesn't seem like this is going to work. Seeking just a decent and simple wifi speaker for my laptop,

• What I know is the 5 speaker doesn’t use any voice assistant. You can run music services & your own library through AirPlay, a Apple feature. It seems that it presumes you have a Sonos 1, but want even better sound. I see no reason why you couldn’t use a computer, but I use my iPhone.
