• The Sonos Move has a built in rechargeable battery so it does not need to be plugged in to work. It will play up to 11 hours on one charge. And it is weather resistant so it can be used outside where you might not have an electrical outlet. It can stream music directly from your phone, tablet or other Blue Tooth Device so if you are too far away for your Sonos Network you can still use it to stream your music directly.

• Hi, and thanks for you question! The Move is designed to be a portable, battery powered speaker that let's you take you music anywhere. You can use it on wifi with the rest of your Sonos speakers, and it's weather resistant as well. You can also use it on bluetooth to take with you anywhere there isn't wifi.
