• As long as you have it on the same WiFi signal you are good to go. It will take a couple of minutes for it to connect.

• If you want the sound optimized for the porch, yes. If not, no. I've accidentally unplugged mine and not had to set up anything after reconnecting.

• No just plug it In and if the wifi signal is available it will reconnect
