Dose this work well with a Spotify account null

Yes. Works great at controlling Spotify.

I use it with Apple Music, and it works great. They say that it works with many different music services, Spotify included.

It's supposed to, but I don't use that service; I stream Amazon Prime music and my own playlists via iTunes. My only issue with the Sonos One is you can't just have "one," so beware...once you get one, you'll be heading back to BB for more and more :-)
