Yes, you can clearly add (2) Sonos One SLs to generate a home theater surround sound. You will need (2) of them. One for the R-rear channel and the other for the L-rear channel. If your room is smaller, this with a Sonos subwoofer will be fine. If your room is very large, you could have (2) Play 5’s for your left and right rear channels. However, the price jumps up considerably with a set of Play 5s.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I us Playbar with a set of these and a Sonos subwoofer to crest a home theater experience in my family room. The pairs of One SLs act as the left and right rear channels for an immersive experience. I really love them!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I added a pair to my Sonos Beam to create a surround system. They make a great combination!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You definitely need two speakers to make surround sound with a tv. I bought one, after telling the salesman that is what I intended, only to realize when I set it up I needed two speakers to make the tv have surround. So...I had to return to the store to buy the second speaker. So far, the surrounds don’t work with my Beam. I’m trying to troubleshoot, as they should work with the tv, so I can’t speak to their performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, he added it to the one he already he had for better sound
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Generally, the higher the number, the better quality the sound with these, but first surround sound, this model should be good and is definitely a good bang for the buck if you already have the sound bar or subwoofer, for the lower frequencies
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In order to get surround-sound, you will need 2 for the back of the room. If you opt to get one, it will not separate the front and back sound like you hear in a theater. It's worth getting 2; I'd recommend getting one with Alexa so it's voice-activated.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most definitely get the Sonos One SL speakers. You really need two for true surround sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You’ll need two for surround sound that you can pair with the Sonos beam. You can group a single speaker to the Sonos beam but it won’t let you get surround sound from it, it’ll just play the same sounds from the beam.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need two Sonos for surround sound the gen 2 are great
