• The Sonos One SL is compatible with the Sonos S1 app and can connect to older Sonos speakers if they are also running S1. However, the One SL cannot be added to a Sonos S2 system. If you want to add the One SL to an existing S2 system, you will need to downgrade the entire system to S1. This will erase all of your settings and preferences, so it is not recommended.
