There is no input on the play3 but I also bought the play5 and There is one on that. Not sure on the music we use pandora and other sources but you can google that.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Play 5 that does have a 3.5 input Jack. The Playbar also has this jack. If you are looking to play YouTube videos do not waste your money on the chromecast audio, go straight to chomecast ultra or chromecast.

Please try again later.Sonos Play 3 can play any music you have on your iPad or iPhone, computer or even my favorite which is it will connect to your home NAS Drive ... really anything connected to your home LAN. But if you wish to "Plug-In an Aux Cable you will want either a Play 5 or one of the Connect or Connect Amp. After having MUCH more expensive Distributed Audio systems in my last house, when I designed this house I did it specifically with Sonos in mind and am far more pleased than ever. Also, keep in mind that the Sonos help desk and Diagnostic built in software is first class and you will love your results.
