think the ability to play music by wifi is through the sonos app - unless you can download and install on a device there is no way for it to connect to the sonos. same reason you can't connect a computer to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure of an adapter but I would suggest that you invest in a iPod iTouch because the system is WiFi and you need the app to run it. Also look into if you are able to download the app onto your computer. I have it on my Macbook.

Please try again later.If the music you own on your Ipod is also on a pc or Apple product connected to the network, you do not need an iPod adapter as Sonos can find your music library on the pc/Mac. If not, then the best way I know to do it is to buy an adapter for your receiver and get to Sonos through your reciever via a Sonos Connect. This allows you to have a hybrid Sonos system while keeping your investment in traditional systems.
