This can be placed on a table top or wall mounted. The measurements are as follows: Width 35.5 inches Depth 5.5 inches

NO YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO MOUNT IT VERTICLE unless you mean vertical face versus horizontal face in the HORIZONTAL POSITION that will work. I do not now of a floor mount but I have mine on a shelf just below and directly centered under the TV. You want it as close to and centered under the TV as possible whether on a table shelf or wall mounted. I WOUKLD NOT SETIT ON THE FLOOR!
