“Does the play base sync the play ones and 5 in my home to work as a sound system for the tv”

You can sync the playbase with 2 play 1s, 2 play 3s or 2 play 5s in a surround sound setup. You can also add a Sub to this for a 5.1 system,

Yes you can setup multiple speakers to work with the Playbase. It is all one through the Sonos App. You can add speakers to each room and then control right from your phone what plays. You can also setup the "surround sound system" with the App. Just put the Play 1,3, or 5 in the room with the playbase then access the app and follow the instructions to link them to the playbase. I was surprised at how easy the setup was.

Yes, using the app you can have whatever is on TV on any of your Sonos speakers, which I do sometimes. The Play Base sound is excellent, btw.
