“Does the Airplay 2 feature work like a Bluetooth connection in that I need to be rather close to the Sonos Port or does it work over Wifi. I want to use it for my back yard and will not be close to the Sonos Port but I do have good Wifi in my yard.”

• As long as you have a strong WiFi signal on the same network in your backyard then you should be able to use the Sonos app or Airplay 2 with compatible products anywhere on that network.
