“I already have an entire sonos whole house setup and a couple of move's. I am installing an outdoor tv and dont want to hook a soundbar to it. Can I connect TV sound into this media player and tv sound will then stream to the rest of my SONOS system?”

Please try again later.if the television has the correct sound output then the Port would be able to receive the signal but this is not a supported configuration and would likely have sync issues if it did work. The Sonos Amp has an HDMI port on the back designed specifically to receive television audio and would be the better solution in this case. Most televisions will not output sound to their own speakers while utilizing another audio out, which is another part to consider when looking into a solution like this. You would generally have to group that Amp with your Moves (or other Sonos zones) to get television sound OR get television sound from the television.
