QuestionWill the Sonos beam or ray work with a custom built pc with a 750watt power supply or are these mainly made to work with just TVs.?

- Answer So, as they are advertised to be used with TVs, I have a Sonos ray for my pc on my desk. if you have the desk space and an arc port on the back of your pc the beam is a better choice. but be aware that windows does not always play nice with arc so I would suggest the Ray.

QuestionCan the ray soundbar be grouped with any of the other Sonos speaker to create a mono sound system. Not looking for surround sound in my application. Looking for audio sound from the tv to be evenly distributed through a large entertainment room.

- Answer Yes, you can choose to group the soundbar with other sonos speakers in the app, just like other groups. I'm able to hear a TV show playing in the living room throughout my apt if I want or I can play music through all of my speakers while a TV show still plays through the soundbar.

QuestionI purchased 2x Sonos SL One Gen2 speakers, didnt realize that you also need a Sonos soundbar to sync with my Samsung TV. I read that the Beam will work via "e ARC" but see the Ray only connects via Fiberoptic. Is there a difference or preference?

- Answer Found a way to do it set up you remote with Ray To add a new remote control, you need to open the app, select Settings, System and then select your Sonos Ray. Tap Use IR and then tap the Remote Control Setup option. Follow the wizard through and tap the buttons on your remote control while it’s pointing at the Ray. - Answer Thank you so much for your question. I can't speak on a specific model, but any IR remote can be programed easily to control Sonos Ray, with the press of a single button during set up. Some Bluetooth remotes from TV companies may have a setting that can be adjusted within the TV settings to turn on IR functionality from the remote.
