• Nope. These are unpowered speakers (hence the amp in the package). For different speakers in different rooms to play the same or different music, you'll need to consider Sonos 1, Play 1 or Sonos 5

• You can put them in different locations but they will play the same thing. One speaker is left and the other right. Also note, they are wired speakers. You will have to run speaker wire from the Sonos amp to each speaker. The only thing wireless is the Sonos amp connecting to your music source. Also, the Sonos amp is not an outdoor device only the speakers. I have the Sonos amp inside and ran the speaker wires and speakers out to our pool. Works great!
