This is going to rely heavily on your Onkyo receiver. What does "works with Sonos" feature mean? If you could provide the model of your Onkyo receiver I may be able to better answer your question. My understanding of the Onkyo Sonos feature is that is connects to a Sonos Connect. In other words it is gaining access to the Sonos speaker through a Sonos component called "Connect". The Connect is a Sonos component that will allow non-Sonos systems to connect to Sonos. In the case of Onkyo it will connect directly to the Connect without much effort because Onkyo partnered with Sonos for this feature. That said, you still need the Connect in order to make this work. I think you can still get the Connect, but I believe it has been discontinued by Sonos. Sonos now has the Port that allows you to connect any number of things (i.e. turntable, receiver, CD player) to your Sonos system through an RCA input. It also has an RCA output that allows you to play music from your Sonos App/network to non-Sonos speakers. So yes, I believe the subwoofer will work with your Sonos ready receiver, but you will need to purchase another component in order to accomplish this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
