“Can the Sonos subwoofer be used wit or Play:1 or Play:2 without the soundbar?”

• Yes it can. I have two PLAY 3 speakers set up as a stereo pair and the SUB just made them sound even better.

• Yes. The Soundbar is connected via digital optics to the tv. The bass and play 1,3,5 work through wireless connectors.

• Yes, it can be used with any Sonos speaker system. Mine works with Play 1 and Play 5. Also, a recent addition of a playbar, which also works.

• Yeah, the sonos sub can pair with the play 1,3,5, PLAYBAR and even Connect amp.

• This is compatible with Connect Amp, Play:5, Play:3, Play:1 speakers and Playbar, but they need to be Sonos products. It doesn't have to be used with the Soundbar.
