The system is really focused on a room. You set up a room in the Sonos app, and you group speskers accordngly. You would have good bass in this room only. This might extens to the whole house if you had a really open concept, but otherwise, I think the walls would make natural barriers to the sound you want.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if you are listening to all of your speakers at once. You can only sync a subwoofer to one pair of speakers. It makes an incredible difference in the bass and, in my opinion, worth the money to add it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 4 play 1 and 2 play 3 speakers and added the sub-woofer. I found that the sub woofer did add some richness to the entire system. I can't say if it's worth the additional cost. I'm glad I did added the sub-woofer to my system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, there are far too many variables to consider. You can’t “stick a sub in the middle” and expect the tuning and more specifically the timing to sound right at all. This would need to be recalibrated depending on which speakers you were using in a specific room. This is an enhancement to one room. Simply put its the best enhancement they make.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It’s got plenty of power and “ thump” if you crank it up. It’s crisp bass not too boomy also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure how big your house is but i have my sonos sub in my bedroom and at max volume i can hear it out side of my dobble wide mobile home on the opposite end that the sub is pretty clearly. I personally would say it would be worth the money to add it to your other speakers.
