• 1000X MK2 are the newer version. They have a better battery and a Soundstage feature. Still relatively the same thing.

• They are the predecessor to the mkII headphones. Their charge lasts 20 hours instead of 30 (when not connected via wire which extends the charge) and the noise canceling algorithm and controls on the mkII are supposed to have been improved too.
