Yes, as long as the headphones are connected to a device via Bluetooth.

Please try again later.i was told by the store salesman "no". i found out after i bought the headset. i tried to contact sony to see if it is true, but nobody got back to me. it is my only complaint about the headset. while on an airplane recently i had to turn it back on every 5 minutes.
