“Q's for this Sony A/V. I have a 7.1 set up, when I play say a music video, I can't get my powered sub to work no matter what I configure but works great with Dolby on movies. For Zone 2, I can't hear audio from my cable source with Zone 2 turned on.”

Hi aquadude777, We do apologize for the inconvenience. The subwoofer is designed for the playback of the bass sound. When the input source does not contain much bass sound, as is the case with most sources, the bass sound may not be audible. You can only do 5.1 with a zone 2 connection.
