“soundbar is connected to the TV thru HDMI Arc. When tv is switched off, soundbar will turn off but the light of subwoofer will still remain green. Is this common, thought woofer will go into standby mode.”

Yes however my green turns red and each time we turn the tv off we must turn the souvdbar on and adjust the volume when turning back on, adding another remote to locate!
