“Would I be able to use this with Sony Bravia KDL-50W800C? I don't feel like experimenting with sound bars to get the right one. Also, my TV stands 1.75" above the media stand; can I put this soundbar behind the TV and the subwoofer in a corner 5' away?”

Honestly do not know the answer to either question and don't want to lead you astray. My advice would be to contact a "techie" at Best Buy. Sorry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I love that sound bar!! I don't think you should put it behind your tv. Mine sits on a table below my tv that is mounted on The wall. The sub woofer is on the floor beside the Table. It's awesome! Thanks to the Geek squad!!!
