Correct, the arc is just to connect the tv and the others to connect to anything else

In regards to your question or concern about connections, you can easily hook up your devices through HDMI inputs and only one through HDMI ARC to your TV, so that, audio goes back and forth between the TV and sound bar by selecting each input according to what you want to listen.
