Hello Mike, I also have a Sony Bravia TV. When I put the sound bar in front it blocked the tv's remote IR. So I first put it directly in back of the tv and that solved that problem. But for aesthetic reasons I didn't really want it there. Personal preferences. Since my tv sits on a cabinet, the first open slot just under the top of the cabinet is fully open all the way across about two inches longer than the sound bar. Works perfectly also. If you have that option try that. Or you could also raise your tv an inch depending on the kind of stand it has. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We solved that issue by raising our TV higher (over) than the sound bar.
