“I have a Samsung tv and just bought the don't sound bar I plugged it into the arc but no sound is coming for the sound bar....are they compatible?”

If you don't have a 4k tv you to get an hdmi optical converotor. I paid 8.00 for mine on ebay. If you have a cable box that supports optical you can plug directly in box until you get the adapter. It's unfortunate my sales person didn't inform me either. Had to figure it all out myself
