• I have an RCA RTU7575 and ran the optical cable directly from the sound bar to my Directv DVR Genie and that worked great.

• If your TV has a HDMI ARC (audio return channel) port you can use an HDMI cable (not included) to connect. Alternatively, you can use the included digital optical cable. There are some benefits to using an HDMI cable but the optical cable will work fine too. I don't believe connecting via USB works.

• The sound bar plugs into TV. The subwoofer is what's wireless.
