If you can mount it to the wall then you can mount it to the Tv with a kit. I have 2 different sound bars mounted to my tv's. One sound bar was too big to sit in front of the TV so i got brackets that are made for that. I think they attach to the VESA mount holes that most tvs have. My other sound bar is mounted above my tv hanging on my wall. That tv is on a full tilt/swivel wall mount. I had to take the tv off to slip the brackets on between VESA wall mount and tv. Then hang the sound bar on it.

If your TV is mounted to the wall, Mount this speaker below the tv. Option 2 The shelf method- if you choose to place this speaker on a entertainment center Shelf make sure it's at least 2 inches above the shelf because it has a built in subwoofer on the bottom. The other reason why it needs to be two inches above the shelf is for adequate ventilation to prevent excessive heat buildup. Because the longer you use it as well as how loud you have it, it will heat up especially at high volume levels. If it's warm on the bottom that's normal. You will need Soundbar pegs & or feet to achieve 2 inches above the shelf. Also this is a high precision Sony Sound Bar, trust me you won't need to crank it. You'll get the best sound using the optical cable.
