• The soundbar has a built-in amplifier so you don't need a receiver but if it has a digital optical out or hdmi output it should work.

• No. The Receiver only allows for HDMI ARC out, and this only has one input and not a pass-through.. you are better off actually running the connection from the TV using the HDMI-ARC from there to the soundbar..but honestly if you got a receiver, use proper speakers.

• Hi Omuno, Unfortunately, you cannot connect this soundbar to your STRDH790 receiver. Powered soundbars like the HTS200F are designed as an all-in-one solution for getting good TV sound. A soundbar is an alternative to an AV receiver and not something you use in conjunction with an AV receiver. Hope this helps. -Sam
