Hi John, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this unit does not have a built-in Bluetooth transmitter for Bluetooth audio out. It can only be connected via Bluetooth mainly with smartphones and TV. You may want to check our HT-ST5000 instead as it has a built-in Bluetooth transmitter to connect your WH-1000XM4. HT-ST5000 has an AVRCP 1.5 (Audio Video Remote Control Profile), you can control your headphones using the supplied remote. You may check this link for more details.
