Hi morano911, you don't need to hook up a subwoofer with this unit. It's already built-in to the soundbar itself. The built-in subwoofer delivers resounding bass, while two front-facing speakers deliver strong, clear top and mid-range tones, and you can hear voice detail clearly too. Thank you ~Earl
