Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Sony HTXT1 sound stand and I have a Samsung 55' TV on it. The Sound System is 28" long and 12 1/4" deep. The hight is 2 7/8". The stand on the TV I have is 25" long and 10 1/2" deep. The TV fits nicely but there's not a lot of room to spare. I would think a 50" would fit with no problem.

The legs on our 32" TV allow it to set right on top of the soundbar as if it were custom made for the TV. You could set a 50" TV on it, as long as the base is not much larger than 12" deep (front to back). But one of the 37" soundbars would probably be better suited to set a 50" TV on. We chose this 28" soundbbar so it could fit inside the space on our entertainment center.
