QuestionDo I need to buy a cable to connect with TV or is one in the box? If I need to buy one, which one?

- Answer Hello Teresa, thank you for your message. In regards to your question, the only supply accessory in the box is the remote commander for this particular Sound Bar. To hook it up into a TV would depend of the available ports that your TV has. These are the ports available on the Sound System with Dual Built-in Subwoofers: Digital Optical IN / Analog IN/ 3 HDMI IN jacks / 1 HDMI OUT (ARC). All of the previous ports would let you make a connection between both units (TV & Sound Bar). Questioncompatible with tv's other than SonyI have a Vizio 60" razor total weight of 61.7 lbs. First of all whats the total weight the sound system will support? Most importantly will it work with my Vizio? I was at Bestbuy today and saw this and it sounded Awesome and looks great

QuestionCan the basic functions, etc changing channels and volume, be programed into a comcast remote.Can you explain to me how to do it?

- Answer Yes! You can program this soundbar to a Comcast/Xfinity remote. Just look up the digit code for the manufacturer (it IS included on the list in Comcast's remote control user guide) and follow the steps in the user guide provided by Comcast to program it as an AUX device. It will power on and off and adjust volume through the Comcast remote. (I think you press Aux, hold "setup" until the light blinks, enter the digit code, and Aux blinks twice if correct (I believe). Easy, takes 20 seconds.

QuestionWobbliness?This system has four small raised footprints, the unit I received was extremely wobbly with one footprint never touching the flat surface it was on creating an unevenness in one corner. Has anyone else had an issue with their system sitting wobbly like this, or are all four footprints solidly touching the flat surface its placed on? Also, has anyone had any issues with this system "moving" slightly from where it sits after prolonged loud or bass heavy sound? Asking to see if even I recieve a unit that sits solid on a flat surface if it's prone to move later by sound vibration. Thanks.

- Answer My question to you is, what surface are you placing the sound base on? My unit is extremely stable. It sits atop my bedroom dresser. The 4 feet have rubber pads preventing them from slipping and when the weight of the TV is on the unit, it adds even more stability. It will not move without considerable effort. Your surface must be level. If your unit is defective, send it back for a replacement.

- Answer I'm able to get sound from it using the HDMI ports. I actually have my computer displayed on my TV so it's an easier setup for me but if your computer and monitor support HDMI, then you should be able to use this sound bar.

- Answer This can be used with most newer HDMI compatible satellite and cable converter boxes by connecting an HDMI cable (sold separately) to the provided inputs (3 available) on the rear of this Sony sound bar. Then you connect a second HDMI cable to the Sony HTC output which connects into your TV's HDMI input. There is no volume bar that is shown on a TV (unless your TV recognizes and links to the system for controlling external audio volume) but you can see it right on the white LED display of the unit. I have it connected through a somewhat older Sony Bravia LCD 40" and it does control the volume with my original TV remote or the cable box's remote if that allows for programming to control the basic functions like power, channel or volume. You do have a feature for AAV (automatic audio volume) that can account for volume changes between channels to be more normalized. I don't find it necessary.

- Answer Hi, If a “BRAVIA” Sync-compatible TV is connected to the system, the power consumption will be reduced in standby mode by stopping HDMI signal transmission when the TV is turned off with the passthrough function* of the system set to “AUTO”. The default setting is “AUTO.” If any TV other than “BRAVIA” is connected, set the item to “ON”. * The pass-through function for HDMI signals is used to output the signals from the HDMI OUT jack of this system even if it is in standby mode. QuestionIs it ok if the TV stand (legs) hang over the edges? I have a fifty inch TV with a stand that is wider than this soundbar and according to the manual no part of the stand should protrude this soundbar.
