QuestionIs this player 2.2 hdcp compliant?Will you be able to connect the new 4k bluray player from samsung and have the picture passed through? I realize an optical cable could be used from the 4k tv to the sound platform.

Questionweight limitmy Samsung tv weighs 2 more pounds than this unit is supposed to hold but could it handle the extra 2 pounds of weight or would it mess up this soundbar?

QuestionCan Best Buy order this Sony HT-XT3 for me?I asked about this product in a another question and I appreciate all the feedback but I still haven't found one in none of my local Best Buy stores in the Charlotte,NC area, ive been told they have never even had these in stock what so ever and I asked if they could order me one and still no luck, I found them in Canada but I rather would buy it locally or if best buy could order me one from sony.

QuestionWhat does the AV sync setting do and how is it used?As far as I can tell, the SYNC (AV sync) setting does nothing. The manual says "You can adjust the sound when the image and the sound are not in sync" but when the setting is turned ON there doesn't seem to be any adjustments that can be made. I would expect that when it is turned on a slider would appear or an option to go up or down (like with the tone or woofer volume controls) would be available, but that doesn't happen.

- Answer Hello TedMtkaMn, thank you for your message. In regards to your concern, for this feature to work, each product must be connected with an HDMI® cable and be setup to communicate through the HDMI connection. It will not work if all of the HDMI-connected products do not have the BRAVIA® Sync feature. The Sync function allows communication between Sony products such as TVs, Blu-ray Disc players, DVD players, and AV amplifiers that support the Control for HDMI function. Best regards, Oscar.

QuestionWill the Sony HT-XT3 be available at Best Buy in the U.S?Does anyone know if this soundbar or soundplate be available for sale here in the U.S. at best buy because they have been available in Europe but not in the U.S.A as far as I know but would really like to get one?

- Answer I was recently told by a Canadian retailer that although the HT-XT3 is available in Canada it will not be released in the US. I have no knowledge of that other than what he told me. He also said it is being discontinued by Sony

QuestionSyncing the sound with TVI've tried to sync the TV with the sound bar by going to audio sync on but find no actual adjustments available.

- Answer Not all branded TVs can sync they have to use the ARC(audio return control) system if using Hdmi 1.4 or better. First check for that specifically then if you have ARC on TVs Hdmi the sound bar will only respond to the TV when selected on channel of input w/ ARC on labeled on port for TV. Most TVs only have one ARC port and that is pretty uniform throughout industry for Hdmi. I don't know if this helps but you could also try using an ARC compatible stereo receiver (Sony brand would be a good place to start looking) and connecting to TV so that sound is played though receiver and to sound bar. Now don't take me being as insincere, I have not done this before or own a hdmi receiver with ARC capabilities. I'm sure a good sales representative at neighborhood electronics store would be happy to try with there equipment before selling you a receiver. after all you'll be spending more money with them.
