The SSF6000 will work with the STR-DH130.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I enjoy the "audiophiles" that boast 600w and 1000w amplifiers. That number doesn't mean a thing unless you're 18 years old and driving a 2004 Honda Civic with tinted windows and a "phat" after market muffler. It's not about the power it's about the clarity or signal to noise ratio. I'm no snob and I have this amp in my living room connected to Klipsh bookshelf speakers as well as Sony ss-f6000 speakers. It's purpose is reasonable background music or jazz with more volume when sitting with visitors in the living room. It sounds fine. Will it reproduce the blasting din of a heavy metal concert? NO. I also have a McIntosh amp from 1973 rated at 50w per channel and valued at around $900 paired with Klipsh and Polk Audio speakers in my entertainment room. The 50w McIntosh will blow the knobs off of any 800w amp made in Japan, period. The clarity is so incredible I got rid of my sub woofer. An acoustic piano sounds as of it is in the room live. So when choosing an amplifier to fit your needs and budget it is almost imperative to go listen to different amps playing through speakers similar to yours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work...however, for best performance, if you can afford it, try to buy a unit with 600 to 800w.
