This amplifier has an A/B switch so you can use either set of speakers or both at the same time.

I have a TEAC CD player that I was able to attach to this stereo receiver. It required only one plug in connection from the CD player to the receiver. I was able to attach BOSE speakers to the receiver as well. The system functions very well. I would recommend that you also attach a subwoofer to the system to enhance not only the bass, but the overall sound as well.
