• That receiver is rated at 100w per channel. Your speakers only handle 40w max. Technically the receiver would run your speakers, but I would worry that the volume may get turned up too high and blow the speakers eventually.

• it might blow them up. limit your volume level or be prepared for the worse. you may pop a cone or 2

• not sure, but I hooked up my old speakers, that I have had forever, some polk about 15 yrs old so I would assume they would handle yours also
